I was finally able to book a train ticket on the French TGV through this app after many failed attempts of doing it through the Voyages-sncf website. Has the same prices and is easy to use.

Easy to use and works as expected. Capitaine Train also processes US credit cards that SNCF rejects, which is a great help until we all get chip & PIN cards.

Thanks for making rail travel possible for us Americans with our pesky U.S. credit cards that Vouyages refuses to take. Now if you could fix it so we could sign up for frequent traveler card without having to have an EU address. Keep up the good work Captain.

This helps you find the quickest cheapest route to your next destination. Far more effective than finding someone at the Gare that knows how to work the system.

So easy to use. And clear where bikes allowed or not. Would not travel by rail around france without it.

This app as well as their website has very simple and easy to use interface. The prices charged are the same charged by the official operators based on my experience using it in Italy and France. The instructions are solid. The tickets that cannot be sold by captain train will show the schedule and you can buy it from the train operator. Only thing I wished it had was a way to see all of the train connections between your departure and destination points. Overall, love the simplicity of the app - made my train travel in Europe so easy.

Even found connections the official voyages-sncf website didnt find. This along with the low prices and a solid UI and UX makes it a no-brainier to recommend!
